Georgina Talfana

Georgina is the company director of Berber Treks Ltd. She is a qualified International Mountain Leader and an accredited Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold Expedition Assessor. She can assess bronze, silver and gold expeditions all over the UK and overseas.

Georgina works on a freelance basis and am willing to travel to the expedition location of your choice. As included in the role of an expedition assessor she will come to meet your group before departing for your expedition and will also check your expedition equipment, to make sure that you fulfill the 20 Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition conditions. Please note that you require your own AALA license if trekking over 600m in the UK.

This award is excellent for developing personal and social skills and Georgina would recommend it for all young people. She particularly enjoys teaching the necessary skills such as navigation, first aid and campcraft and then slowly standing back so that the young people can be in charge of their own expedition.
