Based in haltwhistle in the heart of the Northumberland countryside we can offer you a trek that traverses the length of Hadrian's Wall from Carlisle to Newcastle upon Tyne. This long distance pathway takes in stunning views across the rolling hills and the castles built at every Roman mile along the way. There are also various fortresses to visit including Birdsoswald, Vercovicium and Lanercost Priory. The whole path can be explored over 4 days with addition sightseeing added at the beginning and end, or you may prefer just to choose to trek 2 sections of the wall over a long weekend.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Haltwhistle with optional sightseeing in Carlisle - Hotel, dinner included
Days 2-5: Guided day treks along Hadrian's Wall - Hotel, breakfast & dinner included
Day 6: Optional sightseeing in Newcastle Upon Tyne - breakfast only included
